Join Geneskool for a summer of science!

For the first time we are hosting SSP at two locations; in Prince George at UNBC and in North Vancouver at CapU. Join us for hands-on biochemical and molecular biology experiments, exciting guest speakers, and more! This August, you or your teen can gain hands-on lab experience investigating a major crime using biotechnology, genomics, hair and fibre analysis, blood typing, microbiology and microscopy. Get your lab coat on and join us, fellow scientists!

Registration is now open! Thank you for being so interested in Geneskool Summer Science Program.

If you have any questions, please email geneskool@genomebc.ca

In lab instruction and experiments at the UNBC Prince George campus.

Open to students who are entering grade 9 or higher in the fall.

Participants will be responsible for directing their lab work to help build evidence against a crime!

How will the paid program work?

  • Paid content will include all necessary materials, live in-person instruction, guest speakers, and the opportunity to work with other students to solve a crime in a lab setting
