Anita Charters is one of Genome BC’s Genomics and Society Advisors, focused on the ethical, environmental, economic, legal and social aspects of genomics.
Anita brings almost two decades of genomics research and project management experience to Genome BC. Her previous role at the Provincial Health Services Authority involved bringing several genomic assays into the clinic. Other previous roles include Computational Biologist and Project Manager at Canada’s Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre at BC Cancer.
