In his Sector Manager role David works closely with stakeholders from the public and private sector, listening to their challenges and opportunities and creating linkages with Genome BC’s academic partners to find innovative genomic solutions.

Through conversation and networking David connects government, sector stakeholders and companies who are advancing policy strategies, implementing technology solutions or commercializing new market opportunities with key academic researchers with genomic expertise and know-how. Through this connectivity, he helps project teams achieve success through partnership and collaboration.

David completed his Honours Bachelor degree at Simon Fraser University in molecular genetics, prior to pursuing his doctoral training in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia where he focused on unraveling the mysteries of cell communication.
