Zsuzsanna Hollander is a passionate leader driven to advance human health and wellness by maximizing the value derived from data through data management and data science. At Genome BC her main role is to implement the organization’s Data Science strategy. As part of this, she leads various projects in data management, data governance, and information processes. Furthermore, she develops relationships with key sector stakeholders from private industry, government and academia, with a view to demonstrating the application of genomics aligned with data strategic priorities in human health, agrifood, and natural resource sectors.

Zsuzsanna is a data expert with 15 years of experience in clinical research, data mining and management, and database development. She is co-author/co-inventor on many scientific papers and patents in the genomics and molecular diagnostics fields. With expertise encompassing clinical recruitment, biospecimen collection, technology platforms, analytics and data management, Zsuzsanna has worked with and consulted many global research teams and companies and managed multi-million dollar biomarker development projects. She holds Bachelor degrees in Economic Informatics and Computer Science, an MSc in Computer Science, and a PhD in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
