Daniel Evans was one of the first three people to complete MD-PhD program at Memorial University where his research identified new mutations in retinitis pigmentosa and Weill-Marchesani syndrome using by whole genome sequencing. He recently completed his residency in Family Medicine at UBC and is using family history screening to integrate genomics into his family practice.
