How do I get to the venue?
For registrants attending in person, Genome BC's Annual Genomics Forum 2025 will be held at Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue - Asia Pacific Hall - SFU, located at 580 W Hastings St, Vancouver, BC. Enter via the Seymour Street courtyard entrance.
Public Transit: The venue is a short walk from Waterfront Station, which services major public transit lines, including the SeaBus, SkyTrain, Canada Line and West Coast Express. Transit schedules can be found at TransLink's website.
Driving: If you’re driving, several parking options are available nearby:
- Conference Plaza Parkade: Located at 438 Seymour Street, this lot offers early bird rates if you arrive before 9:00 AM and depart before 6:00 PM.
- 443 Seymour Street (Diamond Parking – Lot 4848): Offers daily rates, with a rooftop-only option during the day.
- 320 Granville Street (Advanced Parking – Lot 9062): Located at the corner of Granville and Cordova, this lot has an attendant on duty during weekdays and offers various parking rates.
- Street Parking: Metered street parking is available around the venue.

How do I update/change or cancel my registration information?
If you have already registered for the event and want to update, change or cancel your registration information, go to REGISTER and follow the link at the bottom of the page that says "Already Registered? View or modify your existing registration."
You will be prompted to sign in. Use the email address you used to register for this event. After signing in, click on the button to "MAKE CHANGES" and follow the subsequent steps to update your information or cancel your registration.

Can I switch between virtual and in-person attendance?
Yes. You can switch from in-person to virtual attendance at any time by updating your registration online. Switching from virtual to in-person will depend on seating availability — please contact us before April 23 to request a change.

Registrants who chose the virtual option can follow the link to the Event Hub to watch the broadcast. We'll also send you an email with a link and a reminder before the event starts.

The health and safety of our attendees are paramount. Measures include: Sanitization: Regular cleaning of high-touch areas. Hand Sanitizers: Stations available throughout the venue.

During the session, there will be a Q&A section located beside the video feed. Use this to type in your question. Questions will be moderated before they appear on the public list, where they can be upvoted by the audience. Alternatively, you can join in the Q&A at Slido using the event code #GenomicsForum2025 on another browser or device (eg. phone / tablet).

That’s okay! Recordings of each session from the Genomics Forum will be available to view on-demand afterward. You won't miss a thing!

No. All you need to do is sign in to this website and visit the Event Hub. From there you will find a link to each session.
