The Earth BioGenome Project (EBP) is an interdisciplinary, global collaboration to create a comprehensive genome library of all eukaryotic life on Earth. For a decade, researchers will sequence, catalog and generate high quality reference genomes to empower conservation actions around the world. This ambitious undertaking is an expansive showcase of how genomics helps us understand how species evolve, adapt and survive across time, making it a crucial tool for informed, sustainable decision making.
